The Brandberg Tower Guesthouse is our new accommodation in Uis, Namibia – an exclusive self-catering guesthouse at the foot of the Brandberg. Since 2025 we have been welcoming guests looking for comfort, peace and a very special atmosphere.
A tower in the desert
The building was constructed between 2022 and 2025 and combines modern architecture with local building techniques. Downdrafts from the Brandberg provide natural cooling inside the tower, and electricity comes from the sun. The best way to end the day is with a sundowner on the roof terrace – overlooking the Brandberg.

Location and getting here
Uis is located on the C35 in Damaraland: about 180 km (approx. 2.5 hours) from Swakopmund and about 320 km (approx. 4.5 hours) from Windhoek. The town has a fuel station, small supermarkets and a clinic. Nearby highlights: the White Lady at the Brandberg, Twyfelfontein, the Messum Crater and the desert elephants.
