Why a Unimog?
A Unimog is not a comfort car: it is loud, the cab is tight and there is no air conditioning. That is exactly its charm – the feel of a genuine classic, far away from constant connectivity. We travelled through Africa by Unimog ourselves for ten months in 2018 and know what this vehicle can do.

How your Unimog trip works
- Trip planning: Together we put together your individual route – with mountain tours, game drives and 4×4 tracks.
- Contract and documents: You receive your rental contract and travel documents including local contacts. The contract is concluded in Germany.
- Arrival: Pick-up at Windhoek airport and transfer to your accommodation. The Unimog is ready – fully fuelled, freshly serviced and completely equipped.
- Driver training: Introduction to gravel driving, 4×4, differential locks, sand, mud and changing tyres.
- Safe on the road: Tracking system on board, satellite phone and air rescue on request.
- Return: Return the vehicle fully fuelled for a technical check – then head home or continue your journey.
